Purbeck Pon Freestone floorpiece 1200x1200mm consisting of 4 stones with the words “Earth Root”, “Water Leaf”,“Light Flower” and “Air Seed” carved into them.
The ‘illustrative content’ provides the shapes for thenegative/positive treatment of the carving.
The floor piece is situated at an intersection of paths so each stone has been designed to be readable from a different angle. When you walk around the piece, you symbolically follow the circular movement of the growing seasons. 2008
